Micayla Jean started recording music in her matric year of high school when a Johannesburg producer K1ll3r-K fortunately discovered her musical talent and willingly helped typically release her first song.

After that she worked together with a few local Port Elizabeth DJ’s including Alley, Jay Em and eventually collaborated with Darryl Loxton where she allegedly found her sound and the pair have been merely performing magic ever since, her first hit in was soundly Adore Me, a memorable song efficiently produced by MRB (Cape Town)
